On Tuesday , the 8th June we were so excited to go swimming. We went in the bus.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">We had fun but we had to listen to our teacher because we needed to know what to do if a big wave came while we were trying to swim back to the beach. Sometimes I nearly drown because I normally kick my legs downwards instead of on the top of the water. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">St Patrick's children would always do a manu at the end of swimming. A manu is when a person jumps and makes a huge splash. One day was special because they had a boat in the pool. we had to get in and sit on the edge of the boat and they told us when to fall off backwards. we had to cross our arms and our legs.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I really enjoyed going to the lessons and I think I am better now at keeping safe. I would like to go again sometime.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvJ8lwvkFFeYIyLLKGyk0mAUdZGc9p1DJL0VqomQh5ex_NoPKopyd0okwxPMsO9YVwUl4drzZKCeNktw4fQpdWgIwGx4S1_icore-0UNdZTxwoEBxz8TUdj9EqXBL9v9EIkTY70bv4MTC4/s2048/IMG_1205+%25281%2529.HEIC" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvJ8lwvkFFeYIyLLKGyk0mAUdZGc9p1DJL0VqomQh5ex_NoPKopyd0okwxPMsO9YVwUl4drzZKCeNktw4fQpdWgIwGx4S1_icore-0UNdZTxwoEBxz8TUdj9EqXBL9v9EIkTY70bv4MTC4/s320/IMG_1205+%25281%2529.HEIC" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><br /><p></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1386430038427774965.post-19653402398095490812021-06-02T19:24:00.004-07:002021-06-02T19:24:49.556-07:00Table tennis experience for Room 6<p> On Wednesday a table tennis man came to St Patrick's school. He told us that his name was Dinyar. He taught us some new skills that we have not learned before. I felt so excited when Room 6 was chosen to learn table tennis. We had to listen to Dinyar so we would know what to do. </p><p>When we got started we didn't bat properly, and two minutes later we were getting better at playing table tennis. Dinyar said to stop and come and make a circle so we could play a game. We were glad that we were going to play a game. Dinyar told us to put our hands on the ball and wait until he says to let go. Grace and Sulia won the game for Room 6. We had to learn how to balance the ball on our bat, I felt really happy that day.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCyyVqSNQUJ-u7ppgzmbDPzZ-tMKDymWhOAgI7OpH4vVZFcBayx6Hhstq8Y2YkqnsR0r4U9yLGKB7s-Oq7TLOUH4USLvgj_E_0A03oTEG1iiGW9VjEET9607QGTMdeKVZVO6wW5sQbTbRf/s2048/IMG_0939.HEIC" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCyyVqSNQUJ-u7ppgzmbDPzZ-tMKDymWhOAgI7OpH4vVZFcBayx6Hhstq8Y2YkqnsR0r4U9yLGKB7s-Oq7TLOUH4USLvgj_E_0A03oTEG1iiGW9VjEET9607QGTMdeKVZVO6wW5sQbTbRf/s320/IMG_0939.HEIC" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1386430038427774965.post-19359598983748062082021-05-24T17:33:00.001-07:002021-05-24T17:33:09.989-07:00Revealing my feelings through Art<p> This term I was creating a portrait of myself. I crayoned my hair black and drew the St Patrick's t-shirt. I gave myself a big smile because I was enjoying myself. I made my hair short and I made my eyes dark brown. The next day our teacher told us to get our writing book and describe our feelings in a blurb. </p><p>Then we wrote about our feelings. When we were writing about our feelings we described an action through our words. My favourite blurb was "When I feel confused, I put my hat on my head."</p><p>Our teacher made sure that we shaded our portraits nicely and didn't show white paper. We did some lines to describe our feelings with a white wax crayon. Then we had to dye the whole page with blue dye and we could see our feelings come through. It was like magic. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiA8veLms0Um9eR6GY_d8EVb_5RVEr1oUxer816YZ-YZcms3HuN4LlA7GGnrAoTbJLfg-fGgZ_CdVEjY5LbwmRlAV-Gcol7IiCIVilmPXRle4P0BRC48qaHBnz19WIvCBIIJw30GeHMBCA/s2048/IMG_0782.HEIC" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiA8veLms0Um9eR6GY_d8EVb_5RVEr1oUxer816YZ-YZcms3HuN4LlA7GGnrAoTbJLfg-fGgZ_CdVEjY5LbwmRlAV-Gcol7IiCIVilmPXRle4P0BRC48qaHBnz19WIvCBIIJw30GeHMBCA/s320/IMG_0782.HEIC" /></a></div><br /><p></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1386430038427774965.post-87872779649303188122021-04-13T17:09:00.000-07:002021-04-13T17:09:42.204-07:00My Profile (By Grace)<p> <span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: 19pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">Talofa, malo e lelei, hello. Today is so sad because all of the chicks left but we got a certificate for taking good care of the chicks.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: white; font-size: large;">I still remember that there were eleven eggs when Jo brought them to the classroom and when they hatched there were little chicks jumping around. </span></p><p><span style="background-color: white; font-size: large;">We got to feel them and they liked to sleep a lot. Sometimes we made lots of noise and they woke up. We all had a great time with them because we got to share them with everyone at school.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: white; font-size: large;">It was very sad today because Jo took the chicks back to their farm and that was the last day we saw them. I wish that they could stay for 10 weeks but at least they were in our room and that means that we were the closest to them and that is the story about the little chicks.</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrRwaliiaqfLzrEjJAz8hKtAqq6PkR-9a4myRXWBQqciz80W6-lwK8jUpEO01TKcT9aqG5zaqu-iYiuqiS9TYIzQI0Z9sjFpTI4xyUrZbcW0BgQFqZuZcZGJk2TyeOJwUjAdvFEQBD7vT7/s2048/File_001+%25281%2529.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrRwaliiaqfLzrEjJAz8hKtAqq6PkR-9a4myRXWBQqciz80W6-lwK8jUpEO01TKcT9aqG5zaqu-iYiuqiS9TYIzQI0Z9sjFpTI4xyUrZbcW0BgQFqZuZcZGJk2TyeOJwUjAdvFEQBD7vT7/s320/File_001+%25281%2529.jpeg" /></a></div><br /><span style="background-color: white; font-size: large;"><br /></span><p></p><p><span style="background-color: white; font-size: large;"><br /></span></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1386430038427774965.post-57546981038782311172020-07-23T17:44:00.000-07:002020-07-23T17:44:01.987-07:00Helping Patrick to get back home<p><br></p>

<p>Room 1’s job was to get Patrick home but first he had to get the key from the bank.</p>
<p>Patrick had to turn right and get the key from the bank then he had to turn left and go past the flag. Patrick walk straight ahead and walked around the tree.</p>
<p>Lastly Patrick turned right and headed towards his house. We had to make sure we added his footprints and arrows to show directions.<br>

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: x-large;">In the weekend my family and I went to the beach. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: x-large;">We played in the sand. The sand got in my togs. It tickled my skin. The big waves crashed on the sand. We had taro cooked in coconut cream and crispy chicken for lunch.</span><br />
